My sister in law let me take some practice pictures of her the other night. It was before the sun was setting and it was already about 7pm. I couldn't believe how light it was at that time. The days are getting longer...finally. Here are some shots I took of Faith, she is so beautiful and I really loved the light at that hour.
(She doesn't know that I'm posting this shot, but I really like it! It's her modeling pose. ha ha)
Thanks for letting me shoot you Faith. That was a fun night!
It's still pretty chilly and wintery outside, so I've been stuck practicing my indoor photography. And lucky them, my husband and daughter get to be my models. Here are a few shots that I am loving right now.
My Grandparents made the trip up to Grande Prairie last fall and we had a chance to take a few pictures up at Dunvegan. It was a beautiful day, the flowers were amazing and my Grandpa even let me take more than one picture. He's not used to getting his picture taken, especially more than one!!
Libby came over to my place to take some One year old pictures. This little girl has an older brother and sister who stayed home, so she was just with her mommy and loving every minute of it! She has such beautiful blue eyes and a sweet smile, she was very easy to photograph.
My friends just had their second baby girl and I was so happy to be able to take some pictures of their newest little sweetie! Little Brooklyn ended up being awake the whole time I was over at her house, so we didn't get some of the sleepy baby shots, but I think you will see that what we did get was pretty amazing!
My friend Amanda is having her second child in just under a month. How exciting...and it's another boy!! I was happy to get the chance to do a maternity photoshoot with her, she is so beautiful and the lighting in her house was perfect!
Yay Kimberlea, I can't wait to get together with you for some photos.
Now you may be wondering how I came up with the number for Kim. I counted all of my Facebook fans and numbered each one, then clicked Generate on the True Random Number Generator. The winning number was 30, smack dab in the middle! (I ended up counting all 60 of my awesome fans) And there you have it.
I wanted to thank you all so much for being involved in my photography adventure. I appreciate your support and look forward to sharing more with all of you.
